Waiver & legal
Waiver summary.
Last updated September 1, 2026
Every angler signs a short liability waiver at the dock. This page summarizes what it says so there are no surprises. The signed waiver is the document that applies.
The captain has the last word
Every trip runs with a US Coast Guard licensed captain. The captain can change the route, head in early or cancel for safety at any time.
What the waiver covers
You wear a life jacket when the captain asks, and always in rough water
You tell the crew about medical conditions, seasickness or swimming ability
You follow the safety briefing and crew instructions
You accept the normal risks of a fishing trip, such as hooks, wet decks and waves
Minors
Anglers under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. Children under 14 must fish with an adult aboard, and age guidance for each trip is listed on its page.
Accessibility
Our 32-foot boat has a wide stern door and a seat at every rod. Call us before booking and we will plan the trip with you.
